The new ACTICA’s Apple Mac Pro compatible DDR2 667Mhz ECC Fully Buffered DIMM (FB-DIMM) comes in 512MB/ 1GB/ 2GB/ 4GB and is thermally advanced designed to support the high performance Apple Mac Pro workstations.
With ACTICA’s high density FB-DIMM installed, user gain greater system performance especially when working with large files and memory-intensive applications, such as graphics, audio, video and scientific applications. Mac Pro supports up to 16GB of 667MHz DDR2 fully buffered ECC RAM in eight FB-DIMM slots, and is recommended to install four or more FB-DIMMs for better performance. Because of its
advanced thermal heat sink design, ACTICA FB-DIMM requires less
airflow to stay cool and allow thermal fans to spin at lower speeds,
and thus also improve system acoustic noises.
